Protest Warrior

Rock ON with your bad self!

This kid gets mad props. If you’re hardcore democrat, anti-war, or consider yourself a liberal you may not like the above site. However I encourage you to read the page and leave me a comment about it anyway, especially if you disagree with something. I’d love to hear about it. In fact it might make my day.

  1. what a cool guy that kid is. it appears that what the liberals he was fighting don’t seem to be aware of is that THEY are the 1984 they are so afraid of. they just have no clue about it, they’re expected someone else to be responsible for it. they don’t expect to NOT be a victim.

i browsed on the protest warrior sight a little bit more and my faith with the right was weakened slightly when some started using the same kind of rhetoric about the left that michael moore has about the right. however, i will need to explore more.

we all have so much to say, and we want to say it to everyone.
maybe everyone should just chill out a little bit.

  2. I hear you.
I don’t think that the Protest Warriors represent absolute truth and a perfect model of action. However, it is fun to read and be amused by liberal tactics being used against their own kind.

I also tire of the right vs. left controversy. Instead of cooperation everything becomes a battle. Who can we blame on the other side for all the problems in the world. I’m tired to the usual finger pointing.

  3. I’m with the kid, mostly. The signs are good politics and free speech, content aside. What the school administrators are afraid of is:

political polarization causing fights and making school more difficult to administer (but that applies to any place you allow political expression, so it doesn’t fly)

people’s parents, who also exert unwelcome influence against free speech, via lawsuits and other levers of power. Maybe that’s the real problem.

Say, do you get e-mail notification of comments here?

  4. Yes I do get e-mail notification. Any delay in my response means I’m either busy or lazy, probably the latter.
