Plans for this Blog.
Hello again my tiny internet audience. I thought I’d take a moment and share a few thoughts with you. Mainly about the projects I’m working on and my plans for this blog.
As some of you already know I recently started this blog after writing with Live Journal for almost a year. I’m attempting to focus more on quality posts and avoid the “dear diary” writings that plague far to many amateur blogs these days.
One of the main things I’m working on in regards to this site is establishing a solid base of profile, or “get-to-know the author” posts. You’ll see these sorts of post being linked to in my rather sparse Love/Hate List. I feel that it’s important for my internet readers to get a good feel of my opinions and have the option to find out what kinds of things interest me.
My movies and songs pages are defiantly not as fleshed-out and organized as I’d like. In the coming weeks I will be adding to these posts. I also plan on adding a great deal of information to my favorite books and authors page.
Some rather large posts being worked on at the moment also include:
*My detailed blogroll; a listing and description of the numerous sites that I enjoy reading extensively.
*My thoughts on illegal immigration.
*More inspirational quotes and commentary.
*A tiny introduction to RSS and ATOM readers.
*Several other minor posts.
Obviously my life doesn’t revolve solely around this blog. I’m also working on a number of projects offline. An epic poem, a fantasy/science fiction (aka Sci-Fan) novel, a survival horror story, and dabbling in many other areas. All this in addition to working the graveyard shift at a shipping warehouse and attempting to be a good husband and father. Quite the busy guy I am lately.
As always suggestions and questions are encouraged, even begged for! Feel free to leave me some feedback. I’m a rather easy-going guy who loves comments and commenting on other’s sites. Hurray for internet interaction!

Just dropped in to take a peek and say thanks for the link to Slactivist’s take on Left Behind.
You have a good start here. I like the way this ap lets you organize your posts. It kinda bugs me to see my old posts disappear into the archives. Especially when so many new one build on what was said in the old ones. Exploring your layout here has given me some ideas on how to finesse the blogger tho. Useing the sidebar to put perma links to posts by catagory so that quick review is possible, for one.
But that will have to wait until next week. Am off to spend the week-end in the desert with my my fundie family. Your post, The War on Morons, has given me some tips on how to hang onto my cool as well as my sanity as I navigate the conversation minefield that always ensues at these events since I outed myself as a free-thinker. Our family tho doesn’t have the problem of slinging insults and other forms of verbal violence. Strong emotion is strongly suspect! They actually use a form of that reason you mention–but the only evidence allowed is Biblical references. If you try to use evidence or reasoning not based on that, then you get quoted the verse: The imagination of your hearts are only evil continually. Which they use to establish that we are never to trust our own minds.

Sound’s like you have a fun weekend planned. Here’s to hoping that you don’t loose your mind.
I grew up in hardcore Lutheran family so I understand your frustration. I still believe much of what I was taught when I was younger, but like you I refuse to be a blind sheep. The bible is not the sole dictator of earthly knowledge. But I digress, thanks for stopping by!

Hello: I stopped by courtesy of BlogExplosion. Do you mind if I ask how you like blogsome? I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Blogger (on which I also use the Kubrik template) and was looking for an easier solution.
I like your blog and the way you have categorized permalinks a lot.
